      Instructions for using the A.S.H.R.

      Track

      Vertical pole

      Immediate post-operative care:

      1st track

      Lowest tier

      Post-operative care: 1st/2nd track

      Lowest to 2nd lowest tier

Acute shoulder injury/pain: First 3 tracks

      Lower to middle tier

      Chronic shoulder injury/pain: 4rth/5th tracks

      Middle to upper tiers

Chronic shoulder pain at end range of motion:

      4rth/5th tracks

(with user’s head centered farther away from pole)

      Middle to lower tiers

Acute shoulder pain at end range of motion:

      First 3 tracks

(with user’s head centered below tracks/closer to pole)

      Middle to upper tier

Please note the distance of the user’s head from the pole and the level of the tiers used are dependent upon the nature of the injury and will vary from time to time and may require adjustments. E.g if the user’s shoulder pain is extreme and occurred immediately, then the user’s head will-mostly- be centered directly below the tracks close to the pole with lower tier. If the user’s shoulder pain decreases over time and is able to achieve more mobility then the user’s head will be centered farther and farther from the pole with use of middle/upper levels for the pole.

Special features of the A.S.H.R. The ASHR has an adjustable vertical pole and five ring tracks that can also be adjusted to suit the user’s needs as they arise. The device will come with a theraband attached to a carabiner that can be adjusted to be long (should the user need to make a wider circumferential arc) or shorter (should the user need to make a shorter arc due to pain/discomfort).

To reiterate this device dubbed the A.S.H.R. is a special patented shoulder rehabilitation device that allows the user to increase their arm’s or shoulder’s range of motion with little or no muscle use by utilizing gravity controlled movements which generates their momentum. With this device, one can simply lie down and slip their wrist in the elastic band and rotate their arm in a smooth motion.

There has never been anything like this on the planet, fact is, any shoulder rehabilitation device requires a user to use their good arm to assist their impacted arm with a specific orthotic device. and always in a sitting position to move it in specific direction. This device (which allows for multi-angular movement) lets the user to use their impacted/injured arm, and get better without much effort, also the user is in a supine position, lying down, which further allows them to easily move their arm with little or no muscle use, hence a person coming out of a surgery will not experience pain, as they would with a traditional device.
